Just opened up in Garden City. Seen on IG that they're opened till 2AM so we called last night at 11:30, they were indeed open!! Score!!! We ordered a tawook pita sandwich and it was great. Store was very clean. Sandwich had garlic paste, and pickles and pressed on a panini press. Yum. This afternoon we ordered there for lunch and got the same sandwich again but tried the tropical cocktail. I wasn't sure what to expect. It had fruit and mango juice and kashta. Kashta is cheese.... It's a weird combo but good. Definitely not like anything I've had before. My hubby loved it. We ordered there again tonight and got the tawook and shwarma pitas. Both good. They have some unusual choices on the menu so we'll stick to the Middle Eastern food. It's a bonus that they're opened late and serve healthy food. It's pretty cheap too. See you there tomorrow.

Awesome Middle Eastern Sub Shop. Steak and Cheese is Great The Louisana Sub is a must try If you like spicy chicken. The falafel Sandwich is to die for also. They don't toast the pita or put so much Tahini that the sandwich falls apart. I used to go to Al Basha but this is my New fav, Place is clean and they will deliver locally. They are on Ford rd next to Platos in Garden City. I stopped in thinking they were a jersey mikes or tubby's type sub shop. Glad I stopped. gave a carry out menu to a gas station near me and they ordered 4 days in a row from there. Highly recommend the steak and cheese. I order mine w/o mushrooms and it is Juicy tender and the bread is toasted to perfection. A bit slow on getting the food but it is by far THE FRESHEST YOU WILL EVER TASTE. I re wrote my review from a 4 to a 5 star if there were 10 stars they would get it. Also open til midnight

Great service, well mannered and took care of all my needs. The food was great I will definitely be back. I have told many friends to try this place. I'm sure they will have the same to say in regards to their experience with original subs. Family owned, have been in the industry for quite awhile. They know what they are doing!

This place is great. They are open late and the bread they use is excellent. Definitely one of the better sub joints around.

Never tasted better! I had a steak and cheese sub. All the ingredients were really fresh, the bread was soft and toasted to perfection, and the meat was tender and juicy. The staff was super friendly and made me feel like family. The atmosphere made me feel right at home! First time trying this place and I plan on coming here much more

Heard about this place by a couple of my friends, so I gave it a try. The subs were amazing, the perfect amount of chicken and the perfect amount of mayo, it was just awesome. Also try the Louisiana sub, a bit spicy but amazing!!

A friend of Middle Eastern descent of ours recommended this restaurant and said that it was one of the best Middle Eastern sub sandwich shops in the area. So, my wife and I tried the place out for ourselves. The place was clean. The decor was a unified, professional restaurant decor. The colors were warm and inviting. It was kind of interesting to have TVs on with "That 70s Show" playing; it gave it kind of a retro 1990s feel at first. The worker was well groomed, polite and friendly. When he found out that we were first time customers, he quite enthusiastically thanked us for coming in and answered any and all questions that we had. The sandwiches had nicely toasted buns. My wife ordered a steak sub. She said that it was very juicy and flavorful. She could tell that the ingredients were fresh. I ordered an "Original Sub" from their signature menu. The chicken was juicy. The mushrooms were juicy and flavorful. The Onions were caramelized. And the result of the combination of melted American cheese, melted Swiss cheese and mayo was that the sandwich was a gooey goodness that was messy to eat, but really good. I plan to go back and try their other selections in the future.

I was confused by the name "Original". It wasn't until I walked in and realized what that meant. If you go way back to the "original" Mangoes restaurant on Warren Ave before Wyoming, in Dearborn you will know what I mean. Those guys were the original dude making subs around here and now they're bringing it back. The setup is exactly the same, just updated and in a new location. First time in there today and it was perfect. Fresh. Hot. Clean. I hope you guys keep it this way. Had the Louisiana style sub. If you like spicy, this is your sub. I plan to return again. A bit out of the way for me but well worth the trip.
